Kimberly O’Neil is an award-winning nonprofit consultant, professor, and social impact leader with over 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. As the CEO of Giving Blueprint and the founder of Cause Studio, Kimberly has dedicated her career to empowering nonprofit leaders to build capacity, improve governance, and strengthen compliance with industry standards.


Her extensive background includes serving as the youngest African-American female city manager in the United States, where she generated over $20 million for community initiatives and influenced key policy decisions. Kimberly’s expertise lies in developing innovative methods to build scalable and sustainable social impact organizations, fostering long-standing relationships, and supporting culturally diverse communities.


Kimberly is also a graduate professor of public administration, facilitating coursework in public policy and nonprofit management and leadership. She is a Licensed Nonprofit Consultant through the Standards for Excellence Institute. Currently, she is a doctoral student at the Indiana University Lilly School of Philanthropy, where she is working on a Professional Doctorate in Philanthropic Studies.
